Asbury United Methodist Church Invites Community to Celebrate Easter in Birmingham, AL

Birmingham, AL – Asbury United Methodist Church is excited to welcome the community to celebrate Easter with meaningful worship services, uplifting music, and a message of hope. Easter weekend at Asbury UMC will include Good Friday and Easter Sunday services, offering opportunities for all to reflect on the significance of the resurrection.

Good Friday service will take place on March 29 at 7:00 PM in the Sanctuary, providing a time of solemn reflection on Christ’s sacrifice. On Easter Sunday, March 31, Asbury will host three services: a 6:30 AM Sunrise Service in the Prayer Garden, followed by 8:30 AM and 11:00 AM Traditional Worship in the Sanctuary and 11:00 AM Modern Worship in Williams Chapel.

“Easter is a time to celebrate the hope we have in Christ, and we invite everyone—whether you’ve been part of our church for years or are visiting for the first time—to experience this special season with us,” says Asbury’s pastoral team.

Families are encouraged to participate in this joyous occasion, and all are welcome to join in worship.
